Lakeview begins the post-Ben Moody era with experience up front and a lot of young skill players who will need to grow up quickly if the Bulldogs want to contend for a league crown. Moody, one of the best players in school history who is now playing RB at Cornell, and graduated QB Justin Clark were the key cogs in last year's offense, which returns just two starters from a 7-3 team. The defense has three starters back. Overall, the Bulldogs have just 10 returning lettermen, so senior captains Te Elias (RB/LB) and Alex Ranttila (OL/DL) will need to provide leadership and production. If Lakeview can stay healthy and the new players can develop, Pavlansky's team should be OK.
