After the best season in school history, the Tigers are loaded (23 returning lettermen) and should be considered the preseason favorites in the Red Division of the All-American Conference. Howland returns eight starters from the highest-scoring offense in school history, including senior running back Dante Marsh (1,200 yards, 10 TDs), senior tackle Craig Stan (6-6, 240), who has offers from Army and Air Force, and senior tight end Taylor Scott (6-4, 230), who has an offer from Bowling Green. The defense is more of a question mark. Howland lost nine starters from last season and will rely on Scott, linebacker Trevor Russell and tackle Robert Lupton to lead an inexperienced group. Howland has arguably the toughest schedule in school history, but there's no reason to think it won't return to the playoffs.
