Following a 1-9 season, the Golden Flashes return eight starters on each side of the ball. Letterwinners include 16 on offense and 17 on defense. Returning leading rusher Travis Damron will be joined by Southington transfer James Rasey. Departed since last year are QB Bill Yartz and TE/DE Jake Helinberg. In quest of the All-American Blue Tier crown, Champion will employ the I formation, offensively, with a 3-5 stack defense.
